DMZ Backpacks: Eveything You Need To Know

Backpacks play a crucial role in DMZ by providing extra carrying capacity and benefits. There are 5 different backpacks to obtain, each with its own stats and uses.

DMZ Backpacks - Small Backpack

The basic starter pack with +2 capacity. Found on initial spawns into raids. Provides a minimal boost until better options are unlocked.

DMZ Backpacks - Medium Backpack

Dropped randomly with +5 capacity. A solid early-game choice for balanced storage and mobility. Contains a third weapon slot.

DMZ Backpacks - Large Backpack

Provides +8 capacity and also a third weapon slot. Better for both supply runs and combat. Located in special loot stashes.

DMZ Backpacks - Secure Backpack

Items persist on death, securing progress. Crafted via barter or rare drops. This backpack is game-changing for objectives by negating loss on failure. The Secure backpack barter can be unlocked by killing the Scavenger 9 times.

DMZ Backpacks - Scavenger Backpack

Sacrifices third weapon for max item slots. Perfect for missions requiring lots of pickups. The Scavenger backpack is dropped by the Scavenger Boss. You can unlock the scavenger backpack barter by killing the Scavenger.
